以梅州为例试论城市特色与特色城市建设
A Study on City＇s Characters,Taking Meizhou as an Example

Abstract
City characters can improve a city’s competitiveness. This paper firstly analyzes the concept of city character and its formation mechanism. It then explores the formation root of city’s character from the relationship between urban culture and city character. After the analysis of Meizhou＇s two main distinctive urban resources, the paper finally discusses Meizhou how to construct the distinctive city through urban planning and construction.关键词
