Abstract
The Central Soviet Area had 5 provinces named Jiangxi,Fujian,Mingan,Yuegan and Gannan successively.Fifty-four counties were under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi,25 counties（including 1 county-level city） under Fujian,22 counties under Mingan,10 counties under Yuegan and 8 counties under Gannan.The division of the Central Soviet Area was arranged close to masses,with preference to small areas and taking the convenience of revolution into consideration.There were four hierarchical levels of administrative division： province,county,district and town（city）,and five ways to name the places including employing original names,combining names,taking directions as names,using celebrity names and choosing names with allegoric meanings.关键词
