摘要

Abstract

In this paper,the K0 consolidation tests with constant load are carried out for the unsaturated original loess under different moisture contents,and the effects of the moisture content on the secant modulus, the stress-strain,and the coefficient of lateral pressure are analyzed. The results show that the secant modulus decreases as the load is applied and becomes stabilized e-ventually when other conditions are the same. When the secant modulus reaches a steady value.it shows a linearly decreasing trend with the increasing of the moisture content The greater the moisture content, the faster the growth rate of the static coefficient of lateral pressure K0. K0 is tending towards stability when the soil structure is completely destroyed. Finally,the values of K0 under different moisture contents become stabilized with small differences in the stabilized K0 values. This paper also proposes the deformation model of the Ko consolidation process with continuous load considering the moisture content, which provides references for the study of deformation characteristics during the K0 consolidation process and the subsidence of the embankment in loess region.
