摘要

Abstract

The damage sites with sizes less than 400 um were mitigated with CO2 laser beams of three sizes. The damage probabilities of mitigated damage sites irradiated with 355 nm laser are discussed separately from four aspects. The results show that it is better to manifest the damage resistance capability of mitigated sites via discussing their damage probabilities according to the sizes of CO2 laser beam and damage site separately. Separate discussions show the mitigation efficiency exceeds 90% if the damage site is irradiated by a CO2 laser beam with size small enough or the size of the mitigated damage site less than 200 fitn. In addition, the damage probability of mitigated site can be predicted from the law that the laser-induced damage threshold of mitigated damage sites obeys the normal distribution.
