Peasants＇ Welfare Experience and the Welfare Effects of New Rural Cooperative Medical System
摘要
Abstract
This paper observed the policy effect of new rural cooperative medical care system from two dimension of peasants＇ welfare experience and its welfare effects.One thousand survey data coming from ten provinces thirty villages in China reveals that its commonweal nature has not been highly accepted by peasant.Some peasants argue that the biggest beneficiaries of new rural cooperative medical system are not peasants but medical institutions or basic level governments.Initial results of it reflected in increasing peasants＇ enthusiasm to see a doctor,improving rural health conditions and farmers health.The serious problems of it including farmers＇ participation,its design and implementation process,its supervision and control and so on influence peasants＇ welfare experience and the welfare effects of it.关键词
