摘要

Abstract

Characteristics of development of interface between Xinjiang crude oil and a complex system composed of Xinjiang petroleum sulfonate (KPS) ,Na2CO3 and saline resistant poly acryamide (KYPAM) were studied using a microscopic photograph system. Results showed that when Xinjiang crude oil contacts with the complex system, Marangoni convection occurs and produces vigorous interfacial turbulence. There is synergy effect between Na2CO3 and KPS in the process of Marangoni convection. The interfacial turbulence produced by Marangoni convection can cause the spontaneous emulsification of the crude oil under low interfacial tension. The addition of KYPAM inhibits the Marangoni convection.
