Mesoporous molecular sieve MCM -41 containing Si and Al with Si/Al molar ratio equal to 10,30, 50,100 and 150 were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as template and tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) as silica source and ethylenediamine as alkaline medium.
