Abstract
Methyl ester sulfonate （MES） which is based on natural and renewable oil / fat is a newand green surfactant regard as high security and optimal cost-efficiency.It has good properties such as total biodegradation,low irritation,excellent detergency and easy to rinse.Further understanding the properties of MES and blending with other surfactants can help resolve the issue of poor water solubility in low temperature.The development status ofMES main rawmaterials,process technology,product performance,quality analysis and application were introduced in this paper.关键词
