Abstract

The recovery of hydraulic support is an important link in the process of caving backout at fully mechanized mining face. Selecting a reasonable roof support pattern is the precondition of improving the finishing safety condition and ensuring the caving backout fast and high efficiency. According to the pathway method advantages, such as less workload, less unsupported roof distance, less material consumption and safety reliability, and combining with the actual conditions of 14313 coal face of the third mining area in Tucheng coal mine, we selected the pathway method to carry out the work of caving baekout, which did have a significant effect.
