Abstract
As a Chinese math teacher training institutions for middle school--Maths Department of Beijing Normal College was founded in the early days of New Chinas, its history is with the maths basic education and higher teacher Education in China. In the article, it takes 164 volumes originality archives of the department of mathematics in Beijing Normal College. The study also consults many research literatures, and it is supplied in virtue of the research method of interview. The article has analyzed the Beijing Normal school Math department during 1954-1989 years through the archives and to archives ' supplement interview the teacher troop 's development, the recruitment of students situation, the curriculum system's establishment development, the test appraisal, the practice teaching as well as the scientific research six aspect development characteristic.关键词
