Effects of Compound KuDouZi on endothelin and nitric oxide synthase in plasma in renal hypertension combined hyperlipidemia rats

Abstract
Objective To study the effects of Compound KuDouzi (CK) en blood pressure, body weight, liver lip-ids, plasuna endouielin (ET) , muic oxide synthase in renal hypertension combined hypertipidemia rats. Methods To establish two kidney one clip (2K1C) renal hypertension rat compound hyperlipidemia model. The successful model of rats were randomly divided into 5 groups and given different interventions for 8 weeks; the model group; CK high, medium and low Jose group; positive control group. Another 10 raw for the sham gmup. Observed the rats body weight changes at 0 week, 1 week, 2 weels, 4 weeks, 8 weeks. When the experience were over, systolic blood pressure, heart rate and plasma ET, total nitric oxide synthase and nitric oxide synthase (T-NOS and cNOS) , liver hpid (TC, TG) were measured. Results After 2 weeks, the rats body weight decreased and the state was poor, weight of the drug-treated rats increased compared with model group, after 4 weeks of treatment incteased significantly (P <0.05). When the enpenetice were over, in middle-dose and high-dase group blood pressure decreased significantly (P < 0.01) , the plasma levels of ET reduced (P< 0.01), NOS levels increased (P <0.01) , and liver homogenate TC, TG content were lower (P <0.01). Conclusion CK can reduce blood pressure and regulate blood Jipids in high blood pressure compound hyperlipidemia rats, the niecha-nism of CK may be related to endoShelial system conditioning.关键词
