Abstract
The vulnerability of groundwater environments is a major agenda in groundwater research,and the evaluation of result plays an important role in urban planning,waste yard construction,the selection and protection of groundwater resources,and several other planning considerations.According to geographic information system(GIS) resources and the DRASTIC evaluation method,and using the DATUW model,this paper selected five factors(depth of groundwater level,lithology of the aquifer,topography,lithology of the overlying layer,and water discharge from a single pump well) to evaluate the vulnerability of the groundwater environment in the Harbin urban area.Based on the results,the study area was divided into three zones depending on the vulnerability of underlying groundwater;high,middle and low.Using these classifications,we propose a set of management recommendations for the area.关键词
