Abstract
The essay interprets the significance of Hangzhou West Lake cultural scenery from the perspective of Kevin Lynch＇s concept of the ＂image of the city＂ and reveals that the scenery is a perfect integration of the natural environment and humanistic value. As such, it is a realization of the ideal of a quality-loaded place image and can thus be regarded as an exemplary model for both scenery planning and urban planning.关键词
