Abstract
In accordance with the four-girder reinforced trifurcation in Ethiopian GIBE Ⅲ Hydropower Station, the formulas are derived on the condition of two breast girders with two U-shape girders sharing one point by means of the theory of cone intersecting with cone and the relationship of plane geometry. The computation of formulas is programmed, and the shape of the trifurcation is designed on the basis of computation. The structures of designed trifurcation are analyzed by APDL of ANSYS under different pipe thickness and different thickness and width of the inner part of U-shape girders. The optimal design is eventually proposed.关键词
