摘要

Abstract

A one-way coupled weather-flood forecast model that combines a mesoscale numerical weather forecast model WRF with a distributed hydrological model GBHM,was studied and tested for the basin of Three Gorges reservoir.Accuracy of WRF was tested through rainfall field observation in rainy season of the year 2000,and then with the WRF-forecasted rainfall,the forecast accuracy of flood inflow into the reservoir was evaluated by using seven large flood events.The results show that the coupled model has a satisfactory accuracy and a longer forecast period.This model has an application potential for flood forecasting.
