Study on the Road Terrain Data Collection using Digital Technology
摘要
Abstract
In order to replace paper maps with digital maps, and collect a large amount of terrain data from digitized terrain maps for highway design, as well as improve design efficiency and rationality, vector technology was applied to establish digital terrain mod- els and compute the surface elevation of any point. On the basis of that, the authors used HintCAD road design software to pefform the plane-vertical-cross design and then generate 3D road perspective, so the route plan can be optimized. The study on the digital tech- nology has positive significance on the visualization and optimization of road design.关键词
