摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the postoperative imaging changes and clinical significance of the X-Stop device in treatment of lumbar degenerative disc disease. Method From Nov 2009 to Aug 2011, the application of X-Stop system for lumbar degenerative disc disease in 35 patients, a total of 42 lesions gap. X-ray measurement of the lesion before and after surgery, segmental Cobb's angle changes, intervertebral foramen diameter and longitudinal diameter / lower vertebral height, disc height / lower vertebral height, disc height retention (R value). Results The mean operative time of 25 to 55 min, blood loss 30 to 200 ml. Cobb's angle, the intervertebral foramen diameter and longitudinal diameter / lower vertebral height, disc height / lower vertebral height increased significantly in 2 weeks postoperativly (P<0.05). R-value (1.193±0.210) >1. Conclusion X-Stop device restore lumbar lordosis, effectively increasing the foraminal area and intervertebral height, is a safe and effective surgical method in the treatment of lumbar degenerative disc disease, and its long-term effect needs further study.
