Empirical Study on the Contribution of Non-agricultural Industries to Urbanization——Based on the VAR Model and Variance Decomposition
摘要
Abstract
By building the VAR model which contains the urbanization rate and the employees proportion of the secondary and tertiary industries, using the analytical technology of variance decomposition, it made empirical study on the contribution of non-agricultural industries to urbanization.It found that long-term dynamic relationship between the three variables existed; the secondary industry＇s contribution to urbanization was low but relatively stable for a long time; the tertiary industry＇s contribution to urbanization is always growing in the analysis period but does not become the main driving force of urbanization.关键词
