Application of Flow Cytometry in Detection of Cellular Reactive Oxygen Species

Abstract
Objective To detect the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) of hippocampad neurons cells by flow cytometry. Methods Mouses were randomly divided into 3 groups(15 cases in experiment group,5 cases in positive control group and 5 cases in negative control group). Cells were treated with blueberry anthocyanins and H2O2 before incubating with (DCF-DA). The fluorescent intensity of cellular DCF was detected by flow cytometry. Negative controls and positive controls were also set up. Results Anthocyanins could reduce intracellular ROS generation induced by H2 O2. Conclusion The method by flow cytometry to measure the reactive oxygen species is simple, reliable and stable.关键词
