Abstract
There is a strong sense of loneliness given out from western literature works since the ancient Greece.The consciousness of loneliness is closely connected with the consciousness of life,destiny and tragedy.The origin of this consciousness lies in that the free will of an individual can never be realized.This consciousness of loneliness exhibits different connotations in different periods,but all of which have an indivisible origin with impossible realization of free will.关键词
