Abstract
The historical background of State Shinto in Japan is analyzed. The important historical factors of the generation of State Shinto in Japan are proposed, social crisis in the late Shogunate, the widespread of the ideas of ＂emperor worship＂, the promotion of the position of the Emperor and the victory of the Meiji Restoration, etc. The research on these factors is the premise of the correct understanding of State Shinto in Japan.关键词
