摘要
Abstract
Development of wireless networks and positioning technologies has given rise to location-based services,which provide tailored services according to users＇geographic locations.Location-based services can be applied in many fields such as industry,research,medical treatment and everyday life.This paper presents the potential applications of location-based services in campuses and teaching,including campus navigation,intelligent classroom,intelligent library,and personalized mobile learning,which are supposed to improve the efficiency of learning and teaching and to bring conveniences to the campus life.Positioning is the basis and the most important part of a location-based service.This paper introduces briefly GPS,Wi-Fi positioning and cellular phone positioning,which are most suitable for campus use.关键词
