摘要
Abstract
As one of NSF funded National Science Digital Library projects, the Earth Exploration Toolbook is a digital library that enables users to explore the Earth's systems through computer-based activities. Each activity as a chapter introduces one or more data sets and an analysis tool that enables users to explore some aspect of the Earth system, and ultimately, builds user's skills and confidence so they can use data to conduct their own investigations of the Earth system. This article provides an extended review on the construction and current situation of the digital library, including project review, resources organization, technological features, and service components. Author's comments and suggestions are also given.关键词
