Improving irrigation water use coefficient and ensuring national food and water safety

Abstract
China's food production is facing enormous challenges, and the imbalance between agricultural water supply and demand in China has become increasingly significant. Based on these facts, some engineering, technical, and management measures for improvement of irrigation are proposed through analysis of present utilization of irrigation water in China, in order to provide references for alleviating the imbalance between water supply and demand, ensuring food safety, and realizing sustainable water resources utilization in China.关键词
