Abstract
This paper has analyzed the important function of building information model （BIM） in building sustainable design. Taking a project for example, it studied the sustainable design of the same professional work, the cooperation in different steps of the professional design, and life cycle management of a building. The disadvantage of the BIM in actual project design was also expounded.关键词
