Abstract
This paper illustrates the geological characteristics near Yangtze River and Sand Lake area in Wuchang with the dewatering technology of deep foundation pit at the Yuejiazui Tansfer Station on the newly built Metro Line 4 in Wuhan. The geological characteristics contain high confined water level and large permeability coefficient. The project features include complex foundation pit enclosure structure design, engineering geology, hydrogeology and surrounding environment. The detailed calculations and design of dewatering concerning the aforementioned features are carried out and a dewatering plan is made based on the assessment of the dewatering influence on the surrounding environment. The structure of dewatering well, construction method and preventive measures are also introduced. Finally, the pit dewatering effect and induced safety risk are analyzed based on the monitoring data that collected from appropriate monitoring network. This paper demonstrates the feasibility of the dewatering plan and provides a reference for the pit dewatering design and construction to similar Large-scale projects.关键词
