摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the mechanism of Tupistra alcohol extract in treating chronic pharyngitis, effects of Tupistra alcohol extract on TL-1|3 and TNF-a in the serum were observed in the rats with chronic pharyngitis. 48 Wistar rats were divided into 6 groups, namely the normal control group, large-dose Tupistra alcohol extract group, small-dose Tupistra alcohol extract group, model control group, Xiguashuang group, and each group consisted of 8 rats. The rat model of chronic pharyngitis was induced by spraying the larynx with strong ammonia water. Distilled water, large dose of Tupistra alcohol extract solution (0. 32g/kg) , middle dose of Tupistra alcohol extract solution (0. 24g/kg) , small dose of Tupistra alcohol extract solution (0. 16g/kg) and Xiguashuang solution (1. 4Og/kg) were respectively given to the animals in each corresponding group. On the 47th day of the experiment , the levels of IL-1(B and TNF-Q in the serum were detected in the blood of the femoral vein of the animals in the 5 groups, respectively, and at the same time, the pharyngeal mucosal and submucosal tissues of the animals were also examined pathomorphologically. The results showed that both large dose and small dose of Tupistra alcohol extract could effectively decrease the percentage of blood lymph cells and the levels of IL- 6 and TNF-a in the serum * and improve the pathologic picture of thepharyngeal tissues in the model animals.
