摘要

Abstract

A new method for simulating artificial fractures using Pebi grid refinement is proposed when there is any angle between artificial fracture and horizontal well-bore. The effect of the angle ( varying from 0° to 90°, increment is 15° ) on the development result of horizontal well is studied under the conditions of single fracture and multiple fractures separately, and the way to decrease the interference among the artificial fractures is suggested under the condition of multiple fractures. The results indicated that,compared with Cartesian grid refinement method,Pebi grid refinement can more'accurately simulate the fractures with the angle of 0° ~ 90°; the angle which easily leads to early water breakthrough is influenced by many factors,and early water breakthrough could severely decrease the total oil production; the bigger the angle,the more obvious the effect of interference among fractures on development result; between 15° and 90°,the bigger the angle,the greater the interference among the factures.the lower the initial oil recovery rate and the greater the final oil production except easily water breakthrough angle; under the condition of homogeneous formation,the fracture distribution of short fractures in the two ends and long fractures in the middle of horizontal well could delay the time of water breakthrough; the uniform distribution of fractures along horizontal well between two water injection wells could balance the effect among fractures and improve the development result of horizontal well.
