Novel algorithm for image enhancement based on multi-scale contrast pyramid
摘要
Abstract
The traditional image enhanced algorithm can not achieve a satisfactory effect for the images which has the scattered grayscales or whose detail information is distributed in the whole grayscale space. And the algorithm will also enhance the noise while the images are enhanced. Aimming at the shortcomings of the traditional image enhancement algorithm, a new image enhancement algorithm was designed. In this algorithm, images are transformed by Gaussian window function and enhanced by the construction of a multiscale constrast pyramid. The experimental results shows that the new alogrithm can enhance the detail information effectively while the images have scattered grayscale, and the algorithm also has a good function to reduce the noise in the images.关键词
