Abstract
BACKGROUND: In recent years, a new-type dental material, mineral tnoxide aggregate (MTA) emerges at home andaboard It is widely used in clinical application because of its good physical and chemical properties and perfectbiocompatibihtyOBJECTIVE: To review the physical and chemical properties, biocompatibihty and clinical application of MTAMETHODS: A computer-based research was performed on CNKI database and PubMed database (1993-01/2011-12) tosearch the related articles about MTA The key words were "mineral tnoxide aggregate, capping material, endodontictreatment" in English and Chinese The related articles were selected There are 68 articles after the initial survey Thenselecting 40 articles related MTA were concluded to review according to the conclusion criteriaRESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Application of MTA is a well adjuvant therapy for some special clinical pulposis And ithas attracted a wide spread attention by its good physical and chemical properties, closure property, biological activity andbiological compatibility The clinical application of MTA will be widely used along with the development of medicine andmaterials.关键词
