Abstract
Romanticism is not a simple concept.If it is not confined to the limited area of Europe and specific time,romanticism is an ambiguous title.If the cultural and geological relativity is not considered,romanticism is a metaphor,a desire and a sincere pray,which is closely linked with shrewd thinkers of different times.Friedrich,Van Gogh,Munch,Mondrian,Dali depict directly the attic window to pursue holy in the earthly world and seek transcendentalism out of experiences.Their pursuit of art is much different from the School of Epicureanism represented by Monet and Matisse.The spirit inherited by Friedrich pedigree is different from spirit of Socrates and Hegel,which is filled with mystery and vitality.Romanticism has its special desire,dreams and sorrow;it is a kind of attitude and practice.关键词
