摘要

Abstract

This paper describs the performance and reaction mechanism of water glass, a plugging material used in plugging the cable shaft wall leakage of Japan's Fukushima nuclear power plant reactor. Water glass bears comprehensive features of less pollution, safe in use, low in cost, abundant in source and easy in injection of plugging slurry, and adjustable in hardening, and therefore has been widely used in the engineering of nuclear facilities construction, geology, hydrology, mining, oil field and other fields as emergent drain blocking, and reinforcement materials .
