英语专业英美文学教学现状思考
Reflection on the Teaching of British and American Literature in English Departments
摘要
Abstract
Recent years high education have witnessed the rapid development of English Departments in all kinds of universities in China.At the same time,they have to undertake educational reforms for students to adapt to the society.In the process of reforming,a great deal of English departments are actually turning into the direction of practical English training.Thus,British and American literature,which should be the core course for English majors,is ignored and marginalized.After analyzing the functions and situations of literature courses,this paper presents some suggestions based on W.Doll＇s post-modern perspective on curriculum.关键词
