Dynamic Phasors Model of Micro-grid With Grid-connected Inverters and Simulation

Abstract
Micro-grid is an effective way to connect renewable energies to distributed network. It is an important supplement to traditional power system. However, a micro-grid consists of large number of grid-connected inverters, terminal loads and lines, whose electromagnetic transient processes bring enormous challenge to the modeling, analysis and control of micro-grid. In this paper, dynamic phasors model of a micro- grid with multiple grid-connected inverters was established firstly. Some detail models of grid-connected inverter, line and load were achieved. Finally, program power system computer aided design/electromagnetic transient in DC system (PSCAD/EMTDC) was used to build the electromagnetic transient model of the micro-grid. Comparably, its dynamic phasors model was established by Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results show that the proposed dynamic phasors model is correct and valid. It provides a novel approach to the modeling, analysis and control of grid-connected inverters and micro-grids.关键词
