Abstract

The variations of each entrance and exit temperature can be known by realtime monitoring to the air side temperature of a direct aircooled steam condenser. The severity of dust accumulation on the surface of a condenser, and the heat transfer difference of the condenser's each section were obtained through the analysis on the air temperature rising of each unit. The condenser is less efficient due to the dust accumulation on its surface; at the same time, the air temperature rising is decreased and the condensation heat exchange on the steam side is reduced. The research result shows that in the same-external condition, for the dust accumulation condenser, the differences of heat exchange is increased, while the temperature rising is reduced; the unit air supply volume should be matched reasonably with the temperature rise of air. The back pressure is decreased effectively and the condensing steam flow is balanced through the increase of fan speed, which provides a reasonable and effective basis for operation and regulation of aircooled systems, and thus reaches the target of energy conservation.
