Abstract
Non-solidly earthed systems are widely used for middle voltage distribution network at home and abroad. Fault point location especially the single phase-to-earth fault is very difficult because the fault current is very weak and the fault arc is intermittent. Although several methods have been developed, the problem of fault location has not yet been resolved very well. A new fault location method based on transient component of line voltage and 0-mode current is presented in this paper, which can realize fault section location by the feeder automation (FA) system. Line voltage signal can be obtained conveniently without requiring any additional equipment. This method is based on transient information, not affected by arc suppression coil.关键词
