摘要

Abstract

A new method of transformer differential current protection, in which zero sequence current is subtracted from phase current by using full current model, is presented. The differential currents for superposition and compensation theories are calculated under both single and multiple fault scenarios. A method to analyze and compare sensitivity of the protection in different zones is proposed. Test results show the proposed calculation method is more sample and quick for single and multiple faults in different zones.
