Abstract

Ecological geology is borderline subject which demonstrates the influence and restriction of geological environment on plant ecology, animal ecology and human health. Also it is a multidisciplinary knowledge and a career development course which could be applied in multifields. The compilation of teaching materials has broken general discipline boundaries, contacted practice and been close to life, focusing on knowledge and interest. Through the visual means of teaching, the illustration of a large amount of cases, students are very easy to understand and accept the information. The arrangement for practice route is based on the following principles: the same geographical climate conditions, the similar terrain and physiognomy conditions, and the different strata and vegetation. The above measures have great advantages for students to recognize and evaluate. More teacherstudent interaction could activate and widen students' thinking to guide students to make interdisciplinary thinking and comprehensive analysis.
