Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of C02 pneumoperitoneum on the ultra-structure of rat fetus brain tissue and Caspase-3 expressions. Methods CO2 pneumoperitoneum was set up under different pressure. The rat fetal brain tissues were taken out on the 17th day of pregnancy within 24 hours. HE staining, immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy were applied to detect the changes in the ultra-structure and the expressions of Caspase-3. Results Slight reversible cell damage was observed in rat fetal brain tissue when the pressure was elevated. There was no significant change in the expression of Caspase-3 in fetal rat brain tissue between the experimental group and the control group ( P >0. 05 ) and the expression of Caspase-3 was also different within the groups ( P >0.05 ). Conclusion The results show that the elevated CO2 pneumoperitoneum can exert slight irreversible damage in rat fetal brain tissue.关键词
