摘要

Abstract

An overview of recent advances in the design, modeling and fabrication of SIW structures and components was presented here. The prospect of SIW technology being applied in tunable microwave devices and terahertz devices was presented too. The basic theory of SIW including the structure , loss mechanism and bandwidth of SIW was analyzed firstly. The microwave and millimeter-wave components consisting of passive devices, active devices, antennas and tunable devices which are based on the SIW technology were studied in detail. The simulation and fabrication of the devices based on the SIW technology were discussed. Finally, the prospect of the SIW technology's applications in the terahertz wave region is presented.
