All Position MAG Welding Formation Control Technology and Research Review

Abstract
All position welding process is applied more and more widely in petrochemicals, piping industrial and other fields, therefore, raising its welding efficiency has important practical significance. On the basis of analyzing the defects occurred during all position welding several corresponding methods were adopted. Control strategy for all position welding high efficiency can be summed up to two types : weld pool quick solidification control strategies and weld pool stable shape strategies. The devel- opment history of their research and application was reviewed and their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed. Application of the magnetism control technology in all position welding was introduced and it is pointed out that current whirlpool force produced by exterior alternate changed magnetism fields can be used for overcoming gravity of all position weld pool in order to prevent metal flowing, which perhaps has important influence for developing all position welding efficiency.关键词
