摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Epimedin C and Icariin on uterus of ovariectomized mice. Methods Female mice from Kunming with both ovaries removal, were divided into 8 groups; model group;di-ethylstilbestrol group; Epimedin C high, middle, low doses groups;Icar-iin high , middle, low doses groups and a sham - operated group.The u-terine coefficient (UC), endometrial thickness (ET) and uterine gland diameter (UGD) were observed after the mice were given the drugs for 60 days. Results Compared with sham-operated groups, the UC, ET, UGD in model groups obviously reduced. Compared with model group, the UC, ET and UGD in Icariin high, middle and low groups, were sig-nificantly increased; the UC and UGD in Epimedin C high, middle and low groups were markedly increased, while the ET were not increased. Conclusion Icariin and Epimedin C have pseudo - estrogen effect and the former is more effective.关键词
