Abstract
Objective;To evaluate the safety and efficiency of Huachansu with KOF regimen in patients with advanced gastric cancer. Methods: A total of 60 patients with advanced gastric carcinoma diagnosed by pathology were enrolled, including 47 patients confirmed by operation and 13 patients confirmed by biospy. All patients were randomly divided into two groups. Patients in both groups were treated with oxaliplatin (135 mg/m , 2-h infusion,day 1) ,cpirubicin (50 mg/m , day 1) , 5-fluorou-racil (375-425 mg/m2 , dayl-5 , 120-h infusion) every three weeks. And patients in the study group were given Huachansu 20 ml/dX 10 d. The response rate was assessed after two chemotherapy cycles. Results: There were 2 complete response, 13 partial response, 12 stable disease and 3 progressive disease in the study group; one complete response ,12 partial response, 13 stable disease and 4 progressive disease in the control group. The beneficial rate of the study group was 50. 0% , higher than that of the control group (43. 3%). Comparing the toxicity, the study group was superior to the control group on netropenia, anemia, nausea and vomit. The incidence of numb of limb in the study group was obviously lower than that in the control group. But the rate of thrombocytopenia was obviously higher in the study group than in the control group. There was no difference on oral ulcer and diarrhea between the two groups. Conclusions; The method of Huachansu with KOF regimen for advanced grastric carcinoma has good efficacy and safety.关键词
