Abstract
AIM To investigate the rational use of antibacterial dnigs at periopeiative period of three types I incision operations including thyroid surgery, breast surgery, inguinal hernia surgery and survey the effect of the plan, do, check and action(PDCA) cycle management. METHODS According to PDCA procedure, materials were collected and analyzed, and measures were made out on promotion followed by supervising the practice for further improvement. The data of medication of two groups from May to July 2010( before the implementation of PDCA method) and from April to June 2011 (after the implementation of PDCA method) were collected and compared. RESULTS After implementation of PDCA method, the percentage of antibacterial drug use significantly decreased,from 100% to 46.67% (P < 0.01). The irrational uses of antibacterial drugs were significantly improved. CONCLUSION PDCA cycle management for standardizing the rational use of antibacterial drugs are effective and feasible.The method can contribute to improving the rational use of antibacterial drugs at periopeiative period.关键词
