Atorvastatin inhibited the expression of thymic stromal lymphopoietin in cultured vascular endothelial cell induced by ox-LDL
摘要
Abstract
Objective: To explore effect of atorvastation on expression of thymic stromal lymphopoietin ( TSLP ) in primary HU-VEC induced by ox-LDL. Methods:HUVECs mixed with ox-LDL ( 50 mg/L ) for 12 hours were divided into three groups: the control group was treated with PBS; Al group was added atorvastatin( 1 |xmol/L ); A2 group was added atorvastatin( 10 |xmol/L ). At 6 h and 12 h, TSLP protein in supernatant and cells was assessed by ELISA and immunofluorescence( IF ), TSLP mRNA in HUVECs was detected by RT-PCR. Results:The control group expressed high TSLP. Incubation of HUVEC with atorvastatin resulted in a significant decrease of TSLP mRNA and protein release from HUVEC, which was in a dose-dependent manner. The same results were showed a-bout TSLP protein in supernatant and cells. Conclusion: Atorvastatin can inhibited the expression of TSLP in cultured vascular endo-thelial cells induced by ox-LDL, which may be one of the mechanisms that statins inhibit inflammation in atherosclerosis.关键词
