摘要
Abstract
The current status and major characteristics of county economic development in Fujian Province since the Tenth Five-Year Plan were reviewed and analyzed.It is suggested that Fujian’s county economy has entered into a new developmental stage since Fujian provincial government proposed to construct the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Straits in 2004,which has become one of China’s main regional development strategies.The contribution of Fujian’s county economy to provincial economy was increasing year by year,and the county economy already became an important support for provincial economic growth.However,comparing with other provinces in the eastern region such as Guangdong and Zhejiang,Fujian was still lagging far behind in the scale and the competitiveness of county economy.This article pointed out several problems of Fujian’s county economic development,such as weak foundation for growth,small scale of economy,unbalanced distribution,and limited ability to gather market resources at county level.Aiming at these problems,some countermeasures to promote the county economic development in Fujian Province were presented and discussed,including further strengthening and expanding leading industries and specialty industries,advancing private economy,promoting system innovation,and improving counties’inner driving force.关键词
