Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects and safety of lauromacrogol injection and absolute alcohol injection for sclerotherapy of single renal cyst under guidance of intervenous ultrasound. Methods Fifty patients were divided into the treatment group ( 28 cases ) and the control group ( 22 cases ). The treatment group was treated with lauromacrogol injection and the control group was treated with absolute alcohol injection. The adverse effects and effective rates of the two agents in the two groups were observed and compared. Results The incidence of lumbar pain on the affiliated side was lower in the treatment group ( 10/28, 35. 7% ) than that in the control group ( 12/22, 54. 5% ) ( P <0. 05 ). After 6 monthsfollow - up, the effective rate was 96. 4% in the treatment group and 95. 5% in the control group, and there was no significant difference ( P > 0. 05 ). Conclusion Lauromacrogol injection has similar effect to absolute alcohol injection for sclerotherapy of renal cyst, but is safer.关键词
