Effect of Modification Treated Waste Newspaper Recycling Fibers on Properties of Fibre Reinforced Poly(lactic acid) Composites

Abstract
The composites of waste newspaper recycled fiber (NRF) and poly(lactic acid)(PLA) were prepared via injection molding technology, and were further modified with MAPP or NaOH. It showed that, addition of 2 % MAPP improved the compatibility of PLA and NRF, and mechanical properties of the composites were enhanced. After NRF was treated with 1 % NaOH, crystallinity of NRF increased, surface bonding between NRF and PLA was improved, also resulted in the increase of mechanical properties of the composites.关键词
