Analysis of Usage and Dosage of Oral Pediatric Chinese Patent Medicine Package Inserts

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To modify and prefect the standards and package inserts of pediatric Chinese patent medicine. METH-ODS: The description of usage and dosage of 351 oral pediatric Chinese patent medicines included in national drug standard were analyzed and compared with the practices of pediatric medication. RESULTS: The description of usage and dosage in package in-serts were undefined, mismatched with the characteristics of pediatric medication and showed obvious errors. CONCLUSION: Pedi-atric Chinese patent medicine package inserts should describe dosage and usage in detail, merge its dosage forms and expand the content of drug reevaluation.关键词
