摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the feasibility of management of petrous apex cholesterol granuloma through endo-scopic endonasal approach. Methods To report one case of left-side petrous apex cholesterol granuloma in a patient who was treated through endoscopic endonasal approach, and review the advantages and disadvantages of all surgical approaches of managements of petrous apex cholesterol granuloma. Results After surgery, patient's hearing was recovered, ear fullness and tinnitus completely resolved without complications. The patient was followed up for ten month without recurrence. Conclusion Management of petrous apex cholesterol granuloma through endoscopic endonasal approach is a new surgical approach, can promise a simple and rapid access to the petrous apex with reducing the risk and trauma of surgery.关键词
